Another Virus Kicks My Butt!

2 weeks ago, 12-06-10, I got really lightheaded and my eyes got really irritated as I was driving home from work...I had been singing to the radio and really getting into it that I thought that maybe I should settle down haha! But things didn't get better. So I went to the eye doctor and they got mad at me for wearing my contacts more than 2 weeks (give me a break!) But they said my prescription hadn't changed and yet my eyes felt weird and like I was in dream state while driving! Finally I couldn't take it anymore and went to my doctor because I thought maybe I had a sinus infection. This was a week after I noticed it. He did x-rays of my head and then came in and told me it was a sinus infection...So he prescribed Amoxicillian and sent me on my way. I started taking it and then on Wednesday I got really shaky and icky feeling that I had Chris take me to the ER. I have a really hard time drinking water and I got dehydrated. Plus I don't like the feeling like I am drunk all the time either. The ER doctor told me I was fine. Why don't I feel fine then?? The next day I took off work. Driving to Boise has gotten too hard for me in this condition. I slept ALL day long! I felt bad because I had someone take the kids to the daycare anyway and she had let me know she was tired too cause her kid was in the ER the night before cause he hit his temple when ice skating. She had to wake him up every 2 hours. I just have felt like I couldn't take care of my kids the way she could in my condition. So I went to pick them up at 5. It's been so hard with Chris working nights because it's all me all the time. The days he has off I let him be the parent. It doesn't sound too even and I feel bad that I do that to him, but I am so worn out. I had lost my appetite until today 12-20-10. Everytime I took the Amoxicillian I would get queasy. I went to take the kids to daycare today and she checked their mouths and saw sores on Ben's & Amelia's tongues. So I took them to the urgent care (their doctor wasn't in today...) and they confirmed it was STREP! Ahhh I really hope I do not get strep again! I hope because I am already taking the Amoxicillian that I will be safe. I feel tired, but yet I feel good. I worry if I take a nap I will wake up feeling worse! Right now it's nap time for the kids that I thought I would update the blog with my latest crumminess! ugh!
