My mom always made sure her kids knew that she loved them. Her mother died when she was 3 years old and after reading her story about how she missed her mother so much made me realize I take my mother for granted too much. She was always my shoulder to cry on and as I became older I was her shoulder to cry on. As she ages it scares me to think of ever losing her. My mother's testimony of the gospel and her strength in prayer has helped her children and husband return back into the church when they have strayed. Her 5 children and husband are now fully active and are teaching their children what she has taught us. "The church isn't about the people...it's about the gospel." I struggled when I was a young woman and those words helped me to remain strong in the gospel. THANK YOU MOM!
