I just read back on the post of when I had Emmaline and it DID seem like a blink of an eye! She is almost 2 (in a month) and I can hardly believe it! She is such a sweet little spirit! She doesn't talk much, but she does know sign language enough to let us know what she wants. She has helped me realize that I overreact at times when I freaked out about her syndrome when she was born...she has been fine. She may have some speech issues (we have an appointment set for a few months from now...they have no availability) and will be getting speech therapy. She loves her daddy! She has always said, "Daaaaaaddyyyy" cute! She does say momma also. Not much else. Oh nigh nigh. for night night. She does the sign for milk, more (want), and all done. She has given me the desire to learn more sign! Even Ben and Amelia have taught me a few signs and have surprised me at how easy it is to learn when you need to! I need to go and get ready for work, but I thought...ok I need to really start keeping a journal again....it's time to stop being so silent!
