Learning Songs At Daycare

We had to change daycares because our old one changed the prices and we couldn't afford her :o( She was so amazing! Anyway so when I was sick I had a sister from church come help me do laundry and help around the house and she asked what I was paying for daycare and I told her $1000...and she offered to do it for us for $700! So we made the switch. She has been so amazing & good and I really appreciate her! She tells me everyday that my kids are so good and that Emmaline is such a good baby! She has a treasure box that the kids get to pick out a prize at the end of the day if they have been good. She has been working with them on their colors and lets them color. They sing these really cute songs to tunes of children's songs that we all know. Here are some of the words:

To the Tune of Are You Sleeping:
R-E-D RED R-E-D RED That Spells RED That Spells RED.

To the Tune of B-I-N-G-O:

I haven't quite learned the purple one or the orange one, but my kids LOVE these songs! Ben sang the blue one all day the day he learned it and Amelia too! She sings the red one more often. And our new daycare lady says she is going to start them on reading in January and said that her son learned after lesson 7 and there are 50 lessons. So she thinks the kids will get it quick. She is so patient & kind! I love her! Also when I call her that I will probably be 15 minutes late and it's because I didn't time my days right & things get crazy at the end that I leave late...she just says, "Don't worry about it just drive safe!" The other babysitter told me that if I don't make it by 6 that she has to charge me...so this is a refreshing surprise and I have been so grateful for her understanding!! And she has fed the kids dinner so it makes it easier for me! It's not every night, but when it has happened it has been helpful. God really has been watching out for us & I am so grateful for his angels on Earth that help us in what we think will be trials. And now that Ben has started school (he LOVES Mrs Bruce's class and he loves riding the bus to and from school!) he goes to a friends house after school and has eaten dinner there too! I was so grateful for her watching Ben after school because we didn't have a way for him to get picked up and to the regular daycare.
