Then we walked over to Ross Dress For Less and they didn't have a big selection of curtains and they had a couple I wanted, but the colors didn't match :o(!! BOOO.
Then the kids & I walked to Joann Fabrics and didn't see much...I was even looking for fabric & Ben saw Spiderman fabric but I didn't know about making my own curtains so I skipped that thought.
We walked to Burlington Coat Factory and their curtains were a bit more pricey than I wanted to spend and I wasn't in love with the choices...just the expensive ones haha! Then we walked down the shower curtain isle and I got an idea...I had the kids pick out the fancy shower curtain they liked...and this is what they came up with :o)!!
Amelia's curtain ;o)! She picked out the ball hooks (at Kohl's) at the top and it all looks really dainty and pretty!
(yes I need to iron them haha!)Benjamin picked this one out because he loves green and this was the only cool looking one they had...he picked the monster hooks for this one! Turned out cute!

I bought 2 shower curtains for the living room and they are sheer white with gold swirls and it has golden fabric on the top...hard to explain I will have to post pics when I get them hung. There are 2 windows in my living room so I got 2 of the same. I think they will look good ;o)!
I gave up on buying curtains for the rest of the house...will have to get some more when I feel up to it!!
The kids & I went to Denny's for dinner and got breakfast for dinner. Ben had been throwing up the last couple of days and so today I had to practically starve him with broths & juice & crackers! So hopefully he does well with his dinner tonight. It's usually a couple of hours after Ben has gone to bed that he will throw up. I almost wonder if it's acid reflux and it just ends up coming out... :o(
After dinner the kids & I went to Kohl's to see what they had and I thought they sold curtains, but I couldn't find any at all! We walked through the shower curtain isle and I was still happy with the kid's selections and I let them pick out their hooks for their curtains in their room. As you saw above Amelia picked the pretty purple balls and Ben picked the monster ones. I was worried cause I showed Amelia some pink butterfly/lady bug ones and I didn't think they would really match. She went with the simple purple ones! YAY! At check out Amelia starts singing really loudly, "Bad boys bad boys whatcha gonna doooo? Whatcha gonna do when they come for you??" The checkers started laughing and I told them she just saw a cop so that's why...haha! She sang it over & over! I finally told her to pick another song haha! Then when we got to the car she started singing..."Imma Be Imma Be Bad boys bad boys whatcha gonna doooo? Imma Be Imma Be Bad Boys...." It rolled together pretty smoothly...I thought wow my girl is already mixin'! haha ;o) CUTE! She was mixing a song by Black Eyed Peas and the Bad Boy's song together.
Got the kids home & upstairs and it took me a bit to hang the curtains in the kid's rooms & ugh the rods were BARELY long enough (they kinda sag in the middle...grrr) and we hung the curtains! That's why I got pictures of those. It wore me out so I am done for tonight!! Got the kids into bed and it's now my free time! Woo! Back to work tomorrow! ahhhh haha ;o)
