Amelia Has Breathing Issues

Amelia has had random coughing and we didn't really think anything of it. Thursday our daycare lady called and told us that Amelia had been coughing for about an hour or so and that she thought we may want to take her to a doctor to get her checked. She has mentioned before that she thinks Amelia has asthma maybe, because she coughs when they are playing hard. So Chris took her to the doctor Friday and the doctor said, "Why didn't you bring her in sooner? Kids can die from respiratory problems..." we thought she was ok...she didn't appear to have major issues. So the doctor got her on a breathing machine and some medicine. She said to keep an eye on her for the next week and then follow up. She said if Amelia needs the breathing machine more than 4 times a day we need to bring her in sooner. Amelia has been a real trooper about it all! I think the little mask is so cute! It's a rhino ;o). So when we do the breathing machine 3 times a day we will watch Amelia's favorite princess movie and she will sit on our lap. I think it makes her feel really good because she just gets so active after ;o). And because Amelia was out from daycare on Friday Benjamin said he missed having her there. I guess her chatter and singing can make a place fun ;o). I am glad my kids are close and love each other to miss each other!
