Teaching The Kids About Giving...Sort Of....

We went to the little mall by our house to check it out a few weeks ago.

As I was in Bath & Body Works Chris let the kids ride on the little $0.25 rides. Amelia chose to get candy from a machine instead of ride next to the creepy worm in the apple ride...

Well Chris let Benjamin put money in the Salvation Army Bell Ringer's bucket while I took Amelia potty.

After all of the rides Chris gave Amelia a quarter to give to the Salvation Army Ringer and so Amelia puts her money in the bucket and then just stood there

watching....waiting....wondering...thinking...puzzeled!

As we walked away Amelia kept looking back like...Doesn't she do anything for the money I gave her? I swear Amelia thought the lady should do a dance or SOMETHING! CANDY! ANYTHING!

So we let Amelia know it was to help other kids have a nice Christmas. So they can have presents. It was adorable!

I just remembered this story because a co-worker was talking about the Salvation Army Ringer so I told this story of Amelia and my co-workers had a good laugh about it.

I think God made kids to teach us how to enjoy life by laughing!
