I am SO Behind!!

So at the beginning of November we moved into our 1st home!! We have been married for 8 years and I never thought it would happen! And I LOVE it! I feel so at home and I no longer feel cluttered! (well there are still areas we need to organize, but at least I can go to another room and not have to think about that clutter! ;o)). Ben found a new way to get down the stairs by locking his arms in the stair rails and sliding down them haha! It's really cute. LAZY, but cute! We are trying to potty train Amelia and we are realizing that we are going to need more than one lil toilet seat up & downstairs...we aren't used to having 2 1/2 bathrooms! The other day Amelia pooped in her pants and I made her help me clean it out...she was SO upset and screamed (while crying), "I DON'T WANT TO TOUCH IT!!" And I told her..."That is exactly how I feel about it!" She didn't have to touch the poo, but she helped me roll it into the toilet and clean it out.

Our last property management company is trying to take 75% of our deposit and I am fighting it. They are charging us for the old blinds and some other things that are ridiculous. I sent them a letter and asked for the main lady to call me to set up a time to meet today...she never called. So I have a co-worker that has access to do background checks and she got me the owners of the apartment complex's address and they will be getting the letter as well (certified mail.). I want my money back and I am going to get it gosh darn it!! :o)

Benjamin had his birthday party a week late because we were in transition living with Chris' parents while we waited to get into our house. I am so thankful to them for offering their home to us during that time!

Also at the end of September I started to feel sick and bacon disgusted me...took a pregnancy test & I AM PREGNANT! Right now I am about 4 month along! By the end of October I was feeling great! Had my 1st doctor appointment on Nov 11th and got a little ultra sound that had a little baby in there...already had kicking legs and lil arms...I KNEW I FELT LIL BUTTERFLIES IN MY TUMMY! My due date: May 26, 2010! Chris' B-day is May 21st and because I have to have c-sections the birth will be closer to his b-day...My 2nd appointment will be this week. Ben and Amelia are always wanting to give the baby hugs & the like to give the baby kisses too ;o). They are so excited! Ben wants the baby in his room and we may just do that...he sleeps like a rock & Amelia is a light sleeper.

We got to have our 1st Thanksgiving in our new home!! Chris' mom asked if we would like to and at 1st I thought...uhhh not sure... But it turned out really well! We just had people bring stuff and Chris & I got to make our 1st Turkey. We cooked it upside down, but it still tasted like turkey haha ;o). I asked my kids what their favorite part of Thanksgiving is and Amelia said, "The apple pie..." Ben said, "Having people over..." My favorite was having people over and the yummy pumpkin cheesecake that Chris' parent's neighbor made! IT WAS AMAZING! Their neighbor is a pastry chef! So if that says anything about it... ;o)

Work is still going well and the drive to work is not too bad...but occasionally I will get road rage :os! I have figured out which lanes people aren't merging into me and that helps with the rage haha!


It snowed for the 1st time here...the kids are really excited to play outside, but haven't had the chance yet. Our daycare provider doesn't let them play outside so they get cabin fever for sure! Ben has been pretty sassy and Amelia gets a bit sassy too...A LOT of time outs here lately.

Well that is all the updates that I can think of for now...I will try & keep ya posted ;o) I hate that I missed some of the cute stuff the kids have said cause they say some silly stuff! Actually today when we got to the babysitters Ben says to her little boy, "TICKLE LISH OUS!!" And was tickling him. haha! Not sure where he got that from...our babysitter said she doesn't say that haha!
