My Family!: Music at the Library

I really like the library here. They always have fun things for the kids! Well I took the kids to the downtown library on Saturday to drop their books off & then we were going to go for a walk. We got to the Human Rights area & sat & ate our lunch. Then this lady comes over to me & she says, "Hey they are going to have an orchestral band play at the library at 2. My husband is in it. You should go." I thought ok it's 1:45...so we went. The kids have such a hard time sitting still so by the time the thing was over we were sitting on the floor in the back playing with puzzles. But the kids liked it. I got a little teary eyed when they played a sort of circus song. do di do di do di do di do do do di do do do do di do do di do do do di di di di di di do do Anyway I don't expect you to get the tune with my typing LOL. The reason why I got teary eyed was because Benjamin LOVED that song when he was a baby. He would always cry after his bath & when I would dress him & he had this toy train that when he would push the button (he knew how at 4 months...) that song would play. I knew it by heart haha! Anyway so I thought that was pretty cool & Benjamin seemed to perk up when he heard it. They also played The Pink Panther theme & Benjamin LOVES the Pink Panther! They had a slide show of animals & they played the instruments to give an idea on the sounds the animals made...very cute. Anyway here are the pictures from it ;o)
