The story with this house is my mom was raised here. It used to be an underground house with 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom a living room that ended up being the parent's bedroom, and a kitchen. There were I think 10 kids? My mom's mom died when she was 3 years old from heart disease & her dad married Ina Fromm. She had 5 of her own & my grandfather had 5 of his own. They all lived in the tiny house underground. (We couldn't get pics of the downstairs because there is a renter :o( So Maybe next time.)
My mom's sister Joyce was 11 years old when she died. She had a ruptured appendix & she was one that didn't complain about anything. A for real angel on earth. She died a couple of years after her mom died. My grandfather's wife, Ina, died as well. I am not sure how she died and when. So there has been some loss in this family...in this house.
My grandfather built the upper half in the 70's & then sold it to my parents. My parent's had the 1st 3 kids in CA & then moved them to MT where they went all the way through high school in this house. I was raised in this house until I was 12. Now to tell you I always felt a spirit in that house & it wasn't always a good feeling. I always felt creeped out. Like someone was watching me. So I really do believe that there are spirits in this home & I am sure they aren't bad, but just there. Not sure who they are or if it is Joyce & my grandmother? Who knows. The house has been special to our family & will always remain so. It's still on well water haha! The city has tried forever to get my family to switch, but because the house is so old they can't make us. I can't remember though if my dad finally made the switch? I have such a bad memory LOL. The house is surrounded by lilac bushes... I LOVE LILACS! The bushes were my favorite thing with that house! I will add more later, but it is SO SUPER LATE that I must retire! NIGHT!

Man that Friend Magazine should be worth something :)
Your niece holding Amelia on the clothes line looks like a grownup Amelia! Are your parents back from Florida?
Yeah they have been back for a couple of months...they have been in MT fixing the old house up...
