What I Got At Church Today For Mother's Day

You know the usual candy bar or the flower plant that most people get on Mother's Day...well since I have been married it seems like they try & give other gifts. Last year we got a booklet about mothers. This year they gave us tomato plants. For those of you that know me & my husband...we don't like tomatoes LOL! So instead of saying, "No thank you..." to the nice young men & young women handing them out I took one. Then after class I gave my plant to someone that I admire. I let her know she could have mine haha ;o).

Then I went to pick up the kids & Ben gave me a pot with rice in it that had these tongue depressors with cut out flowers on them that said: Go to bed on time, empty the dishwasher, hugs & kisses, etc. Amelia gave me a picture with her hand print & I thought...oh it's like the one I did when I was little with the fingerprints on the walls...nope it was different & I am glad it was because it caught me off guard and made me tear up a bit (I have become such a sap LOL) Here is that picture:

That was nice. Today the men took over the classes so all the women could go 'hang out' together. Now THAT'S a gift.
