A Great Sundy!
Tonight at dinner we had Dino Bytes (chicken nuggets) and Ben was not wanting to eat! Chris took Ben's nuggets & would hide them behind the pea pot and made it look like they were hiding from Ben. Then he told Ben that he better come get them before they run away and bite their heads or their legs off so they can't run away. Ben would come back to the table & move them back to his plate. Amelia chimes in and yells, "ATE THEIR BUM BUMS!" LOL So cute! I know why Benjamin isn't eating his dinner...we didn't clean up the lunch plates & so he ate his lunch 5 minutes before I started making dinner. Ugh! Today at church we had ward conference and the Bishop talked to the women of the ward. He mentioned how kids need to learn to help around the house because mom can't do it all by herself. He asked a lady who has struggled with having to work and support her family because her husband has been sick how her kids have helped. She got a little choked up and said that they help because they know if they don't that they won't get to spend as much time with their mother and they cherish that time. That made me cry. The bishop you could tell got a bit choked up too. This lady has had a lot going on in her life & she is amazing! Her husband has been on death's door and he is still with us. Bishop had shared a story of his 12 year old and even said he can understand his mom's frustration with him when he was 12 LOL. His boy didn't take out the garbage like he was supposed to and was a bit absent minded when he went to do the chore. He forgot in the middle of the process to finish the process LOL. One of the Stake Relief Society leaders spoke to us and shared how we need to see the joy in our lives every day. I was asked to say the closing prayer & I got a little choked up. It was an emotional Sunday for me. OH and I was able to be in the choir today & I LOVE our choir leader!! He is awesome! We sand Pachabel's Canon with words & another song. Our ward choir is bigger than any that we have had since we have been married (7 1/2 years). I am so excited to be able to even be in the choir! While I was up there Amelia kept saying, "HI MOMMA!" It was so cute! Made me smile ;o) When we got home from church Chris made our usual lunch (grilled cheese). It's our traditional Sunday lunch. Then we all took naps! I feel tired still :os. Back to work tomorrow...I hope things look up!
