I Got Pampered!!

I went to the beauty school by our house yesterday! They had 2 coupons in our phone book (the one I work at), so I called and asked if I could combine them. They said I could! YAY! The one coupon is "A Queen for a Day!" Which is me getting a pedicure & a manicure and a hair style. The other coupon is a $5 hair cut. So they had all 3 girls take care of me at once! I really felt like a queen! A lady from church saw me there & she had her hair all foiled up getting it dyed. She said hi to me & it was so cool to see someone I knew ;o)! She saw me at church today and said, "You looked so relaxed yesterday!" And I did! It was nice doing that for a change! I don't ever do that for myself and it was just a blessing! I only have a couple of pictures that I emailed myself from my cell phone. They aren't the best, but oh well ;o). I had also bought fake eyelashes and I forgot to buy glue (cause I thought it came with it! Duh!) so I asked the girls if they could help me with them, and they did! I LOVE fake eyelashes! I think I will be using them more often! I felt so pretty yesterday!!
Chris and I went on a date for Valentine's! I told him I wanted something different than dinner & a movie. So he planned a surprise for me (I love it!!) and we went to Caldwell. When he said Caldwell I had no idea! What's out in Caldwell?? He has to get directions cause he realized he doesn't go out there much & doesn't know how the roads work ;o)! So we are running late. In Caldwell the roads don't have speed bumps, but speed DIPS! We are driving a long and all of a sudden a speed dip jumps in front of us!! Chris hits it hard & I thought our bumper was gone! So he kinda slams to a stop in the middle of the street & this car, that could have stopped, is barreling down on us!!! I screamed and Chris stepped on the gas & got through the intersection! I thought we were going to die on Valentine's day in Caldwell!! We get to this abandoned parking lot and Chris said we were there. We had to walk a ways. In Caldwell I have to give them props for putting pretty lights on the bridges along the little river they have going through town. it was so pretty! Anyway we go inside this building and we are at a play! YAY!! It was a dinner & play thing. At 1st it felt like we were attending some other church's play/activity night, but it was fun. They sat us at this table by some other people (older couples..in their 50's or 60's.) and they were so nice. Our table had picnic like table clothes. And the stage was right in front of us. It was set up like a Western style saloon. They fed us salad and we had pink lemonade for drink. Then for the main course we had rolls and hamburger stew. It was cute, but later Chris & I agreed we were still hungry and a little disappointed it wasn't more for what we paid for. But it was cute how it went along with the play they did. The play was about a hotel that was up for sale, but ended up being owned by these 2 nieces of the guy that died. It had a couple of stories within the story and I don't really want to go into it ;o). But one thing that made me laugh the most was a character called, Stinkweed. Every time someone would scare him or which ever he would fart. The best one was when it was just like a little fart like the ones people hold in & it still comes out...LOL! Anyway it was a lot of fun and I am glad we went! We stopped at Wendy's after and I got a twisted Frosty & Chris got fries and something else LOL I have the worst memory! We got home and Chris took the babysitter home & then he went shopping. We had a great night & it was so fun to be able to go do something. I am so thankful for the girl that babysat for us! I thought for sure we would have had a hard time finding someone, but it wasn't too bad!
