"What do you want to be when you grow up?"
Tonight at dinner I asked the kids what they wanted to be when they grew up & Benjamin said, "A Santa!" And Amelia said the same LOL. Then I asked again & Benjamin said, "A Firefighter!" Ben then asked me what I wanted to be & I told him I always wanted to be a secretary & that I am doing that now. I used to work in my parent's shop they had when I was growing up & I used to do all of the busy work. I LOVE busy work ;o). Someone mentioned today that their parents gave her a scrapbook of all the things they kept of her growing up & how it had their "interviews" with her. They had things about what she wanted to be when she grew up & so that is why I thought of doing that with the kids tonight & documenting it on the blog. I hope to one day put this blog in book form for the kids. I have heard of people doing that. Well if you want please share what you wanted to be when you grew up... ;o)

Let's see, initially an archeologist, until my mom mentioned that I don't look so great in khaki. From there I moved onto wanting to be the president. My final resting place was to be a buyer for Pier One imports and travel the world shopping!

I wanted to be an archeologist too! Indie made it look so cool! haha ;o) I think I also wanted to be a beautician haha ;o)Yeah I cut a guy's hair once & figured I wasn't fit to hold scissors to anyone's head haha!
I love that every little boy wants to be a firefighter. When i was little I wanted to be nurse. I still kind of do...maybe one day.
